NDIS
The NDIS provides people with a disability funding to receive the disability supports and services they need. The NDIS also provides people with disability, including those not eligible for funding, with information and connections to services in their communities. This includes connections to doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as providing information about what support is provided by each state and territory government. NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission
NDIS participants have the right to be safe and to receive quality services from the providers and workers they choose to support them under the NDIS.
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The NDIS Commission regulates the NDIS market and handles complaints about the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT)

QCAT takes a new look at (reviews) some decisions made by the Department of Communities including Child Safety services and the Commission for Children and Young People and the Child Guardian.

Queensland Advocates
The Queensland Disability Advocacy Program funds organisations to deliver advocacy services to Queenslanders with disability, their family members and carers.

Office of the Public Guardian
The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is an independent statutory office established to protect the rights, interests and wellbeing of adults with impaired decision-making capacity, and children and young people in the child protection system (foster care, kinship care and residential care) and at other visitable sites such a youth detention centre, disability service or mental health facility.
